1. Real Estate Brokerage Services & Commissions

​

All real estate brokerage services provided by Brendan Ecker Realty are offered through eXp Realty® in accordance with applicable Michigan real estate laws and brokerage regulations.

Compensation for real estate brokerage services, including commissions, referral fees, consulting fees, or related charges, is determined at the time of entering into a written agreement, including but not limited to:

• Listing Agreements

• Buyer Agency Agreements

• Referral Agreements

• Consulting Agreements

• Other real estate service contracts

Compensation is considered earned upon the successful completion of services and/or closing of a real estate transaction in accordance with Michigan law, contractual agreements, and eXp Realty® brokerage policies.

​

Once services have been substantially performed or a transaction has closed:

• Commissions and service fees are generally non-refundable

• Retroactive commission reductions or reimbursement requests will not be granted unless required by law or agreed to in writing

• Any approved adjustments or exceptions must be documented in writing and approved by all applicable parties

Nothing in this policy limits or waives any consumer rights or protections available under applicable law.

2. Digital Products & Downloadable Resources

​

Purchases of digital products and downloadable materials are generally non-refundable.

​

This includes, but is not limited to:

• PDF guides

• Real estate resources

• Educational materials

• Templates

• Checklists

• Downloadable files

• Online course materials

• E-books or study resources

Due to the nature of digital content and immediate access upon delivery, refunds will not be issued once:

• The product has been downloaded

• Access has been granted

• The file has been opened or delivered electronically

3. Technical Issues & Duplicate Purchases

​

If you experience technical issues accessing a purchased product, you must contact us within 7 calendar days of purchase.

​

We will make commercially reasonable efforts to:

• Restore access

• Resolve technical delivery issues

• Provide replacement files if necessary

Refunds for digital products may be considered only in the following situations:

• Duplicate accidental purchases

• Failure to deliver the purchased product

• Technical issues that cannot reasonably be resolved

• Situations where a refund is required by applicable law

Refund determinations are made at our sole discretion, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

4. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to:

• Suspend access to products or services

• Deny future purchases or services

• Provide supporting transaction documentation to payment processors or financial institutions

We encourage customers to contact us directly before initiating disputes so we can attempt to resolve concerns promptly and professionally.

5. Third-Party Products & Services

Some products, software, financing tools, mortgage services, or third-party offerings linked through our Website may be subject to separate refund policies and terms established by those providers.

Brendan Ecker Realty is not responsible for refund policies or practices of third-party companies or platforms.

6. Policy Changes

We reserve the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. Updated versions become effective immediately upon posting.
